Established in 1989 Wire Works supports manufacturers by offering:

  • Process development
  • Process improvements to increase production yields
  • Thermode repair to extend the usable life of the soldering tool,
  • Both prototype and contract welding services.

 

Bernie Wire, the founder of Wire Works, previously held the position of Sr. Applications Engineer at Unitek Equipment (now Amada Weld Tech Inc.) for five years. During his tenure, he provided technical support to both new and existing customers by helping them develop and optimize welding processes using the equipment. Bernie was responsible for conducting welding feasibility studies for both domestic and international sales representatives, as well as managing all in-house welding operations related to reflow solder thermode products.

 

Since his time at Amada Weld Tech Inc., Bernie Wire has continued to support welding equipment manufacturers and their end-users. Some of the notable companies he has worked with include GE Lighting, GE Medical, GE Power, Det-Tronics Special Devices Inc., GKN Aerospace, Motorola, Unitek Equipment, MicroJoin, Seiwa, and MacGregor Welding Systems.
